The TORNADO PROJECT |
|||||||||||
The Tornado Project is a EU/USA collaboration with American virtuoso performers Esther Lamneck (clarinet) and Elizabeth McNutt (flute). The project's aim was to create the first interactive repertorire of works for flute, clarinet & live computer, using alternative approaches to technologies and aesthetics by a number of composers. It was conceived as a cross-atlantic project involving composers based in the UK/Ireland and the USA. The Tornado Project, performed by two of America's most distinguished performers, include works by composers like Ricardo Climent and Paul Wilson (both conceived the project in Ravenhill Gardens), Robert Rowe, Andrew May, Eric Lyon, Mara Helmuth and Russell Pinkston. |
